Our quiet community on the bayside of the island enjoys its location near Point of Rocks, noted as one of the best diving sites on the coast for its spectacularly colorful array of tropical fish and coral reef. We are just steps from peaceful Crescent Beach, perfectly suited for those in search of a relaxing day at the number one beach in America.
Vista Hermosa is comprised of 89 private residences, including a combination of one-story villas and mid-rise condominiums, and was established in 1971. The well-maintained grounds provide a serene, tropical setting and plenty of amenities, including a large heated swimming pool, clubhouse, recreation room, shuffleboard courts, and a barbecue area.
We are located a few minutes walk from Crescent Beach Village, which has a small grocery store, post office and pharmacy. Crescent Beach Village additionally offers a diverse selection of restaurants and shops. Nearby are opportunities for paddle boarding, boating, jet skiing, and parasailing, and many residents enjoy touring the area by bike as there are several rental facilities.
Within a short walk down the powdery white sandy beach, residents and guests may enjoy the award-winning Siesta Key Beach. The public beach offers many other amenities, such as volleyball, basketball, tennis, a shaded playground, picnic areas, concession stands, and beautiful pavilion area.
A little further north of the public beach area is the Siesta Key Village, offering an even larger selection of restaurants, boutiques, and lively entertainment and nightlife. With a short trip across the south Stickney Point Bridge, residents and guests of Vista Hermosa may take advantage of all the conveniences of the mainland. Downtown Sarasota, St. Armand’s Circle, Longboat, and Lido keys are all within a twenty-minute drive of the property.
